The Rewards of Golf and Real Estate

Fall 2012 - it's official, I will be blogging on a regular basis from now forward.  Thanks in advance for visiting, reading and enjoying!

Last week I previewed a home for sale in Fountain Hills, AZ (part of my Realtor footprint) perched on a hillside overlooking SunRidge Canyon Golf Course.  As I approached the home's front door, an amazing swoosh of an owl exiting the entrance's eaves broke the silence of a waning afternoon.  To my utter amazement, as I moved closer to the front door, here's what else I saw:

Not every day as a Realtor is that exciting, but there is always the sense of being out and about in many neighborhoods searching the perfect property for your clients, to have unexpected rewards like this one!  My goal with this blog is to share those rewards, provide current and useful real estate industry information and write about my other passion which is golf.   I am choosing the wise creature perched here as my lucky charm.

Prior to my career as a real estate sales professional, I was rewarded with the opportunity to spend 12 years marketing and selling some of the top-ranked Phoenix Valley golf resorts as a destination to both individuals and corporations, including the Boulders Resort, the Camelback Inn  and the Arizona Grand Resort.  During that time, I developed a passion for learning the game of golf, to help me both be a better sales person of the product and develop lasting client relationships worldwide.

Fellow golfers understand the struggle to learn the game and master its challenges.  The reward is the joy of achieving those unforgettable best shots that we always remember!  These personal moments instilled in me a desire to keep golfing, striving always to be a better player.  I now golf for the sheer joy and love to plan vacations around the game.  Some of my favorite courses in recent years have been - Torrey Pines, Carmel Valley Ranch, Mauna Lani Hawaii, and White Witch Rose Hall Jamaica, just to name a few.

Seven years ago, I was inspired to be an entrepreneur.   I chose a new career as a Realtor and developed my plan to become a consummate success. Naturally, that plan demanded golf be an integral part.  I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to join the Keller Williams Legacy One Realty network of professionals in the adjacent golfing community of Ocotillo in Chandler, AZ.

Every day is a reward as I head into my office and am surrounded by the luxury of spectacular views of one of the premier golfing destinations in Phoenix.  Those views, my passion for golfing, and the years of successful sales as a Realtor in the Phoenix East Valley inspire me to provide my clients excellent service daily.  As the finder of your golf home, extraordinary professional guidance in achieving your homeowner goals is my goal!

My lucky charm owl is just one of the many rewards I have received from real estate and golf.  Thank you for visiting, and I hope you subscribe and come back often.  This blog will soon feature guest appearances of unique perspectives on golf, including women who golf.  The game of golf needs more women as players, as champions of the passion they enjoy and the community they love to share.  Thank you in advance for your support.
